| Obverse description | Elaborate city arms of Breslau occupying the central field, comprising a quartered shield with the Silesian eagle and the city's distinctive 'W' charge, surmounted by a crested helm with elaborate foliate mantling and flanked by ornate baroque scrollwork. Above the achievement, a nimbed figure of St. John the Baptist is depicted facing, holding a cross-staff and banner.
