| Obverse description | The obverse features the fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by sculptor Susanna Blunt, depicting the Queen facing right, bare-headed, wearing a necklace and drop earrings, as she appeared at approximately 77 years of age. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs across the upper field, with the date 2018 and the inscription D•G•REGINA below, flanking the effigy. The denomination 3 DOLLARS appears in the lower field. The initials SB, attributing the portrait to Susanna Blunt, are found near the truncation. |
