Obverse description The obverse presents the fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by engraver Susan Taylor, depicting Her Majesty at 77 years of age as a right-facing bare-headed portrait wearing a necklace and earrings. The mature bust is rendered in fine relief against a polished field. The circular legend reads ELIZABETH II at upper left, D·G·REGINA at lower right, and CANADA 2020 with the denomination 3 DOLLARS distributed around the periphery, all in Latin script.
