| Opis awersu | Cast iron cash coin of round form with a central square perforation. The obverse bears the four-character reign title legend 大宋元寶 (Dasong Yuanbao) arranged in regular script (kaishu) reading top-to-bottom and right-to-left around the central square hole. The characters are rendered in a bold, well-defined style within the broad flat field, enclosed by an inner square rim and an outer circular rim. The coin surface shows typical casting texture with areas of iron oxidation patina consistent with age and burial. |
