Reverse description Central design features an elaborate, stylised floral and foliate cross motif radiating symmetrically from a circular boss at the centre bearing the Roman numeral III, denoting the denomination of 3 Argenteus. The ornate cross arms terminate in curling acanthus-like flourishes and are interspersed with floral sprigs, all struck in high relief against deeply mirrored proof fields. The fineness mark 1000 appears at the base of the central device. The circumferential legend PRO PROSPERITATE MUNDI arcs across the upper field, while ARGENTEUS is inscribed along the lower periphery, separated from the legend by small rosette stops.
