Reverse description A stylised six-armed cross, with each arm terminating in an ornate fleur-de-lis or lily blossom, occupies the central field. Smaller floral sprigs fill the angles between the arms. At the centre of the cross, within a shaped cartouche, appears the Roman numeral denomination III. The fineness mark 1000 is placed below the central motif at the base of the lower arm, while the encircling Latin legend is divided between the upper and lower periphery.
