| Reverse description | Reverse displays a heavily worn and crudely executed Arabic inscription spread across the central field, characteristic of the base copper fractional coinage of the late Bahmani Sultanate. The design elements are difficult to distinguish due to the irregular flan and worn die, with indistinct calligraphic strokes and small circular pellet-like decorative elements visible in the field. The rim is irregular and unraised, consistent with hammered production. The overall fabric is typical of the debased Bahmani copper issues of the early sixteenth century. |
