| Reverse description | Central type depicting a sella castrensis (military camp stool or folding chair of command) flanked on each side by a bundle of fasces, the emblems of Roman magisterial authority. The sella is rendered frontally with a rectangular seat supported on crossed legs, a composition asserting the propraetorian imperium of the issuing magistrate. A Greek legend arcs above and below the central type, naming the magistrate and his title. The overall style is bold and schematic, typical of late Republican provincial bronze coinage. |
