The surrounding matte silver field is decorated with an elaborate engraved grapevine motif of scrolling tendrils, leaves, and grape clusters framing the insert on both sides. The inscription 'Good Shepherd' appears in elegant script lettering across the upper portion of the field, above the vine decoration. The lower field carries a relief depiction of a flock of sheep among vegetation, mirroring the obverse composition. |
