| Aanvullende informatie |
BEAC's themed collector issues of the 2010s were produced under license arrangements typical of the modern numismatic souvenir trade — the Central African Economic and Monetary Community provided nominal issuing authority while the actual design and production were handled by European minting houses targeting collector markets with no organic connection to the subject matter. Chariot racing has no cultural or historical tie to any BEAC member state.
Gold-plated silver of this type is notoriously prone to delamination at the plating interface, particularly along rim edges where handling concentrates wear.
