Opmerkingen

The Comoros uses the Comorian franc, pegged to the euro through an agreement with France that mirrors the CFA franc arrangements — the Banque de France printing relationship is a direct consequence of that monetary tie, not simply a contractual preference. Guérault was one of the more accomplished intaglio engravers working at the Banque de France during this period, and his involvement indicates the note was produced through the full security engraving process rather than offset alone.

The watermark remains the sole listed security feature, which is modest even by late-1990s standards for a denomination of this value.
