The starburst is rendered with fine detail against a deeply mirrored dark field, creating a strong cameo contrast characteristic of proof coinage. The legend JUBILEU arcs in large bold letters along the left and upper portions of the field, while the jubilee year 2000 is inscribed in large numerals along the lower portion. No additional border devices are present beyond the reeded edge.
