| Obverse description | The central field features the emblem of the Bank of Mongolia — a stylised soyombo symbol surmounting an ornate cartouche with lotus petal base — flanked on either side by vertical inscriptions in the traditional Mongolian script. The Cyrillic legend 'МОНГОЛ БАНК' appears within the cartouche in cursive style. Below the emblem, the face value '250 ТӨГРӨГ' is rendered in large numerals and Cyrillic lettering. The lower exergue bears the Latin inscription 'MONGOLIA 15.5gr 925 SILVER' in small capitals. A serrated border of triangular denticles frames the entire design. |

A blue six-pointed star device appears in the upper field above the tunnel entrance. The circular legend 'МЫТИЩИНСКИЙ ВАГОНОСТРОИТЕЛЬНЫЙ ЗАВОД' (Mytishchi Car-Building Plant) runs along the upper periphery in raised Cyrillic capitals.
