| Obverse description | At center, the ornate emblem of the Bank of Mongolia (Монгол Банк) within a stylized cartouche surmounted by the soyombo symbol, flanked on either side by vertical inscriptions in the traditional Mongolian script. Below the emblem, the face value '250 ТӨГРӨГ' is rendered in large numerals and Cyrillic lettering. Along the lower periphery, the legend 'MONGOLIA 15.5gr 925 SILVER' is inscribed in Latin characters. The entire design is framed by a toothed denticular border. |
