A ribbon scroll at the base of the emblem bears the Cyrillic legend МОНГОЛ УЛС (Mongolia). The date 1995 appears in the lower field beneath the wreath. The entire design is enclosed by a beaded border. |

| Reverse description | The central field features a finely detailed depiction of a Mongolian archer in traditional attire and pointed helmet, shown in a three-quarter view drawing a recurve bow. Behind and above, a schematic outline of a second archer in modern Olympic stance is rendered in incuse style, juxtaposing traditional and contemporary archery. Two horizontal lines divide the mid-field, with the denomination 250 ТӨГРӨГ inscribed to the left. The curved legend OLYMPIC GAMES 1996 arcs across the upper field. A beaded border frames the entire design. |
