| Obverse description | The Somali national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a heraldic shield bearing horizontal lines and a five-pointed star, supported by two leopards rampant as flanking supporters, surmounted by a mural crown. Crossed olive branches and a ribbon scroll appear below the shield.
