| Obverse description | The note is printed entirely in green on plain paper. The denomination numeral '250' appears in ornate cartouches at upper left and upper right, flanking a central oval medallion bearing the monogram 'НБ' (National Bank) within a decorative guilloche border. The main text inscription reads 'ДВЕСТИ ПЯТЬДЕСЯТ РУБЛЕЙ' (Two Hundred and Fifty Roubles) in bold Cyrillic lettering below the medallion. Two manuscript signatures of the Manager and Cashier appear beneath the body text, with the year '1920' in rectangular frames at lower left and lower right, and a warning legend 'ПОДДЕЛКА ПРЕСЛЕДУЕТСЯ ЗАКОНОМ' (Counterfeiting is prosecuted by law) at the bottom centre. |
