正面描述 Within the central nickel-plated steel disc, a seated female allegorical figure is depicted alongside a bear leaning toward her and an otter to the right, representing the fauna and symbolic identity of the Russian Arctic. In the lower portion of the field, an industrial panorama features an oil refinery, shipyard facilities, and a submarine, underscoring the strategic and economic significance of the Arctic territories. The date and denomination appear within the design. The brass outer ring carries the bilingual circular legend in both Cyrillic and Latin scripts.

附加信息

The Varyag was a protected cruiser of the Imperial Russian Navy that achieved near-mythological status after the Battle of Chemulpo Bay in February 1904, where her crew fought a Japanese squadron of overwhelming force rather than surrender, then scuttled the ship. Recovered and refloated by the Japanese, she served in their navy for years before being sold back to Russia in 1916.

The issuer here — "Arctic Territories" — is a private licensing entity, not a sovereign government, producing coins for the collectibles market under nominal territorial authority.
