| 正面铭文 | 250 РУБЛЕЙ 2015 РОССИЙСКИЕ АРКТИЧЕСКИЕ ТЕРРИТОРИИ * RUSSIAN ARCTIC TERRITORIES |
| 背面描述 | A detailed relief depiction of the Soviet battleship Marat occupies the central field, rendered in a three-quarter perspective view showing the vessel's superstructure, gun turrets, and hull. To the left, a uniformed military bust portrait of Kliment Yefremovich Voroshilov faces right, with his name and life dates inscribed beside him. The legend ЗНАМЕНИТЫЕ КОРАБЛИ РОССИЙСКОГО ФЛОТА (Famous Ships of the Russian Fleet) curves along the upper rim in Cyrillic script, while ЛИНКОР "МАРАТ" appears along the lower rim. |

The Marat — originally launched as the Petropavlovsk in 1911 — was hit by a 1,000 kg bomb dropped by Hans-Ulrich Rudel during the Siege of Leningrad in September 1941, blowing off her bow and killing over 300 crew. The Soviets kept her partially afloat as a fixed gun battery for the remainder of the siege rather than scuttle her. Kliment Voroshilov, paired here, was the People's Commissar of Defence whose catastrophic mismanagement of the Winter War against Finland led Stalin to strip him of operational command in 1940.
