| Obverse description | The Mexican national arms occupy the central field within a D-shaped inner circle, depicting the heraldic eagle perched on a nopal cactus rising from a rocky islet, clutching a serpent in its beak and talons, with an oak and laurel garland below. A border of raised pellets frames the design between the inner circle and the outer rim. The legend ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS arcs along the upper periphery.
