Reverse description The stylized head of a jaguar, rendered in a pre-Columbian artistic style inspired by Aztec stone carving traditions, occupies the central field within a D-shaped inner circle. A border of raised pellets runs between the inner circle and the outer rim, echoing the design of the obverse. Below the inner circle, in the exergual area, the mint mark Mo and date 1992 appear flanking the inscription JAGUAR PIEDRA DE LOS SOLES. The denomination $250 is inscribed at the very bottom, outside the inner circle.
