| Obverse description | Central design depicting a stylised sun with radiating pointed rays, at the centre of which is a functional sundial gnomon rendered in gold alloy, casting across the legend 'TIME IS MONEY' inscribed in the silver centre disc. The date 2004 appears in the four quadrants formed by the rays. A border of Roman numerals I through XII, arranged as a clock or sundial dial, encircles the design, with the denomination '250 NGULTRUM' inscribed along the lower rim. The letter 'S' appears at the base of the central sun motif. |
