Obverse description Central field depicts the official mascot of the 2004 Southeast Asian Games held in Palembang — a stylized anthropomorphic feline character dressed in traditional Pencak Silat martial arts attire, rendered in high relief, shown in a dynamic fighting stance with one arm raised and the other guarding. The Games logo, featuring five interlocking rings above a decorative emblem, appears in the upper left of the field.
