Obverse description At center, the traditional Bhutanese royal emblem featuring the Druk (Thunder Dragon) depicted as four interlocking dragons arranged symmetrically around a central vajra (thunderbolt) motif, rendered in high relief with elaborate scrollwork and lotus foliage. Small six-pointed star ornaments are evenly spaced around the inner border. An inscription in Dzongkha script appears at the top of the field, while the legend KINGDOM OF BHUTAN is incused along the lower rim in Latin characters.
