| 表面の説明 | Landscape orientation. A photographic vignette of an alpine mountain landscape occupies the left portion of the note. The centre carries the issuing institution's name and a written legend in Italian designating the instrument as a bank cheque payable to the Azienda Autonoma di Soggiorno Alta Val di Fiemme, dated 1 June 1977. The numerical value appears to the right, with the serial number printed in the lower left area alongside a virtual stamp duty authorisation notice; the printer's imprint runs vertically along the left margin. |

Italian emergency mini-notes of the 1970s — the so-called miniassegni — were issued by savings banks and commercial institutions to plug a severe coin shortage that plagued the country through much of the decade. The Cassa di Risparmio di Trento e Rovereto was one of dozens of regional issuers who printed these quasi-cheque notes as a pragmatic local solution. They circulated like small change but were technically sight drafts payable at the issuing branch, which created persistent legal ambiguity about their status as money.
Tipolitografia Stampa Rapida, a Trentine commercial printer, handled production — modest offset work rather than intaglio, which is why surviving examples often show ink wear inconsistent with their age.
