Reverse description The central field bears a stacked multi-line Arabic legend in calligraphic script reading 'May he be victorious / Struck in Constantinople / 1336', with the Hijri date 1336 appearing in Arabic-Indic numerals at the base of the inscription. The denomination numeral 250 is also present within the legend block. The central inscription is enclosed by a beaded inner border, surrounded by the same richly engraved band of scrolling acanthus foliage, floral rosettes, and arabesques that adorns the obverse, consistent with the coin's ceremonial character.
