The tughra is flanked by a wreath of laurel branches curving upward from the base and meeting at the top, with seven five-pointed stars arching above along the upper rim. Below the wreath at the bottom of the field, the denomination numeral ٢٥٠ (250) appears in Arabic script. The overall design is bold and finely struck on a polished gold flan, reflecting the high artistic standards of the Constantinople Mint. |
