Reverse description The central field displays a stacked multi-line Arabic legend in elegant Ottoman calligraphy, comprising the mint formula and AH regnal date, all enclosed within a fine foliate wreath. A ring of small stars separates the wreath from the elaborately engraved outer border, which features dense scrolling arabesques and floral rosettes rendered in high relief, consistent with the ornate decorative vocabulary of late Ottoman gold coinage. The reeded edge frames the entire design.
