Reverse description Central device displays the Guinean coat of arms: a shield bearing a striding elephant, flanked by scrolls inscribed TRAVAIL, JUSTICE, and SOLIDARITE, with stalks of grain to either side and a dove bearing an olive branch as crest. The date 1969 appears below the shield. The denomination 250 is prominently struck in the lower central field, with FRANCS GUINEENS along the lower legend. The commemorative inscription 1958-1968 X. ANNIVERSAIRE arcs across the upper field, marking the tenth anniversary of Guinean independence. A beaded border frames the design.
