| 背面描述 | A crested bird perched on a branch facing left occupies the central field, rendered in fine detail. The denomination is expressed in both Arabic numerals and the word فلساً to the right of the device, alongside the numeral 250 and the legend FILS in Latin script. The date 1968 appears in Western numerals below the device and in Arabic-Indic numerals to the left. |

Fujairah was among the least populous and most isolated of the Trucial States, with no functioning mint infrastructure and minimal prior coinage history. The patterns produced in 1968 appeared in the final years before federation — the UAE would not formally unite until 1971 — and many were struck by foreign mints speculatively, aimed more at the collector and proof-set market than any genuine monetary purpose. Whether this piece ever circulated is not a serious question.
