| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse features a dynamic, high-relief depiction of the Genius of Liberty as a winged female figure, nude from the waist up, her right arm raised aloft holding a torch or flame, her left arm extended outward. She is crowned with a star and set against a richly detailed background of radiating sunbeams, draped curtains, and encircling laurel branches. The date 2026 appears in the lower right field, just above the laurel border that frames the base of the composition. |

The "Génie de la Liberté" figure derives from the bronze sculpture atop the Colonne de Juillet in Paris, erected to commemorate those killed during the July Revolution of 1830 — not, as is commonly assumed, the revolutions of 1848 or the Commune. Monnaie de Paris has drawn from this iconographic well repeatedly, making individual annual releases within the series distinguishable primarily by their mintage ceilings rather than design variation.
