| 正面描述 | The obverse displays the Singapore state coat of arms in high relief against a deeply mirrored proof field. The shield, bearing a crescent moon and five stars, is supported on the dexter by a lion rampant and on the sinister by a tiger rampant, both rendered with fine detail. A ribbon beneath the shield carries the national motto MAJULAH SINGAPURA in Latin lettering. The country name appears in three scripts: SINGAPURA in Latin along the upper arc, the Tamil legend சிங்கப்பூர் at the left, and the Chinese characters 新加坡 at the right. The date 1993 and the English legend SINGAPORE are inscribed in the lower field, with the Singapore Mint mark visible at lower right. |

Singapore's lunar gold series was administered by the Board of Commissioners of Currency, an issuing authority that was dissolved and absorbed into the Monetary Authority of Singapore in 2002 — making all BCCS-issued pieces terminal to that institutional period. The 1993 Rooster falls mid-series, neither a scarce first-year issue nor a final-year rarity, but the .9999 fineness specification distinguished Singapore's lunar program from contemporaneous bullion issues by other mints still striking at .999 or lower.
