| Descrizione del dritto | The obverse bears the full arms of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas rendered in high relief against a deeply mirrored proof field. The shield is supported on the dexter side by a marlin and on the sinister side by a flamingo, both depicted with fine engraved detail. Above the shield rises a conch shell surmounted by a richly detailed crest of tropical foliage. The national motto FORWARD, UPWARD, ONWARD, TOGETHER appears on a ribbon scroll in the base. The circular legend COMMONWEALTH OF THE BAHAMAS arcs along the upper periphery, with the date 2020 appearing in the lower field beneath the arms. |
