Aanvullende informatie

Morocco's enthronement anniversary coinages are issued annually by Bank Al-Maghrib as a matter of state protocol, commemorating Mohammed VI's accession on July 30, 1999 — the day after Hassan II's death, with no formal interregnum. The 18th anniversary fell in a year of significant domestic constitutional tension, as debates over the Hirak Rif protest movement and its aftermath dominated the political calendar through late 2016 and into 2017.

The .925 fineness places this outside Morocco's earlier commemorative silver standard, which historically ran at .720 for circulating issues.
