| Reverse description | Central device features the ornate Royal Moroccan coat of arms — a pentagram on a red shield beneath a royal crown — enclosed within an elaborate horseshoe arch with intricate arabesque foliate decoration. A semicircular arc of thirteen five-pointed stars frames the upper portion of the central device. Arabic legend curves along the upper periphery, with the denomination '250' and an Arabic inscription appearing in the lower field below the arms. The French inscription '21ème ANNIVERSAIRE DE L'INTRONISATION DE S.M. LE ROI MOHAMMED VI' arcs around the lower periphery in Latin script. |

| Additional information |
Mohammed VI ascended the throne in July 1999 following the death of his father Hassan II, whose 38-year reign had defined modern Moroccan political life. The 21st enthronement anniversary falls in 2020 — a year in which Morocco's public celebrations were curtailed by COVID-19 restrictions, making this commemorative issue an unusual surrogate for ceremonies that largely did not occur in their traditional form.
