Obverse description Central field features an elaborate Arabic calligraphic panel in the Thuluth style, enclosed within a stylized ogival cartouche with foliate ornamentation, bearing the Shahada inscription. The peripheral legend along the octagonal border reads the country name in Arabic above and in Latin script below, with the Arabic text 'سلطنة دارفور' distributed across the upper facets and 'DARFUR SULTANATE' along the lower facets. The overall design draws on classical Islamic numismatic and manuscript traditions.
