备注	This note was issued under Saddam Hussein's government in the final year before the U.S.-led invasion, making its production run unexpectedly short. De La Rue's Gateshead facility — rather than the company's more prominent operations elsewhere — handled the contract, continuing a supplier relationship Iraq had maintained through various international sanctions workarounds. Following the 2003 invasion, the Coalition Provisional Authority oversaw a currency swap in late 2003 and early 2004, during which both the "Swiss dinar" series and Saddam-era notes were withdrawn simultaneously. This 250 Dinar denomination was among the notes exchanged at a fixed rate of 150 new dinars per old dinar.
