Obverse description Bare-headed effigy of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) wearing spectacles, shown in three-quarter bust facing left with necktie and suit jacket, rendered against a frosted central field with a stylized depiction of the Grand Palace spires in the background. A circular legend in Thai script arcs along the left and right borders, reading the king's title and country name, with the denomination '๒๕๐ บาท' inscribed along the lower rim.
