This issue belongs to the post-November Uprising coinage imposed on the Kingdom of Poland following the Russian suppression of the 1830–31 revolt. Tsar Nicholas I dissolved the Polish Sejm, abrogated the 1815 constitutional charter, and absorbed the Kingdom directly into the Russian administrative structure under the Organic Statute of 1832 — the very year this coin entered production. The Warsaw Mint, which had struck distinctly Polish coinage for over a decade, now produced pieces bearing bilingual inscriptions subordinating Polish monetary identity to Imperial authority.
Production ceased after 1833, making the two-year window tight and surviving mintages correspondingly modest.
