Reverse description Central device features the Imperial Russian double-headed eagle displayed, each head crowned with a separate imperial crown and surmounted by a larger central crown bearing a cross, all finely struck in high relief. The eagle's breast bears an inescutcheon with the Polish White Eagle. The talons hold a sceptre and orb respectively. The mint-master's initials I·B (Jan Beyer) appear below the eagle's tail, flanked by small stars, with the date 1825 in the exergue. The surrounding circular legend reads 25 ZŁOT·POLSK· 52 Z GRZ·CZ·KOL I· B·, indicating the denomination and the gold fineness standard of 52 złote and grains per Cologne mark.
