| Obverse description | Against a polished black field, the central device features the coat of arms of the Republic of South Ossetia — a snow leopard passant before a mountain range, enclosed within a beaded circular border bearing the bilingual legend 'РЕСПУБЛИКӔ ХУССАР ИРЫСТОН' in Ossetic and 'РЕСПУБЛИКА ЮЖНАЯ ОСЕТИЯ' in Russian. The denomination '25 ЗÆРИНЫ' is inscribed in bold raised lettering along the upper arc of the coin, while 'НАЦИОНАЛОН БАНК' appears prominently along the lower arc. The date '2024' and the fineness mark 'Ag925 31,1' are placed in the lower field beneath the arms. The rim is decorated with a continuous border of ornamental rosette devices flanking both sides of the field. |

| Reverse description | Against a polished black field, the central motif depicts a detailed relief of the Kornisi Trinity Church (Цъинагар Æртæиууон Аргъуан), a small single-nave stone church dateable to the 12th–14th centuries, rendered with fine architectural detail including its pitched roof and arched doorway. Above the church, within an oval cartouche, a colored icon scene shows two sacred figures in a blessing posture, flanked by the inscription 'XII·XIV ÆН.' and a cross. The composition is structured as a cross, with four decorative floral cross ornaments occupying the corner quadrants of the field. The upper arc bears the legend 'РУХС ÆРТÆИУУОН АРГЪУАН' in Ossetic script, while 'АЛАЙНАГ ЕПАРХИ' is inscribed in the lower arc. The place name 'УАХТÆНА' appears below the central church depiction. |
