| Reverse description | The oval reverse depicts a stylized Seljuk-era relief representation of the zodiac sign Libra (Terazi), rendered in a flat, decorative medieval Anatolian artistic style. A central kneeling figure holds aloft a balance scale, flanked on either side by bird-like creatures with ornamental plumage, all set against a mirror-polished proof field scattered with small stars. The design is inspired by Seljuk stone carvings and tile decorations from Anatolian monuments. The legend TERAZI (Turkish for Libra) is inscribed in bold relief along the upper border of the oval flan. |
