Beschrijving voorzijde	Central field displays the state emblem of the Mongolian People's Republic (1960–1992), featuring a mounted horseman galloping across a landscape before a rising sun, all within a circular wreath of wheat sheaves tied at the base by a ribbon inscribed 'БНМАУ' (the Mongolian abbreviation for the Mongolian People's Republic), surmounted by a star. The Cyrillic legend 'БҮГД НАЙРАМДАХ МОНГОЛ АРД УЛС' curves around the upper periphery, with the date '1987' positioned in the lower field. The coin border is decorated with a reeded or dentilated inner rim.
