Descrizione del dritto	The obverse displays the coat of arms of Botswana centrally within the heptagonal field, featuring a shield supported by two rampant zebras, with a cogwheel and wavy lines on the upper half of the shield and a bull's head on the lower half. A scroll beneath the supporters bears the national motto 'PULA' in raised letters. The legend 'BOTSWANA' arcs along the upper periphery, while the year of issue '2013' and the word 'IPELEGENG' appear in the lower field beneath the arms.

The word 'IPELEGENG', the Setswana motto meaning 'self-reliance', is engraved along the lower periphery, completing the design.
