| Obverse description | The obverse is dominated by a central floral vignette of stylized blossoms and leaves rendered in brown intaglio, flanked on either side by the numeral '25' set within ornate guilloche cartouches. The heading 'INDONESIA' appears in bold letterpress across the top, followed by the legal tender inscription 'TANDA PEMBAJARAN JANG SAH' and supporting text, with the date '1 DESEMBER 1947' printed vertically along each lateral border.
