| Obverse description | The state arms of Transnistria occupy the central field, depicting a Soviet-style emblem comprising a hammer and sickle superimposed on a five-pointed star, flanked by sheaves of wheat and ears of corn, with bunches of grapes at the base and two banners inscribed PMR and RMN. The circular legend ПРИДНЕСТРОВСКИЙ РЕСПУБЛИКАНСКИЙ БАНК runs along the upper periphery in Cyrillic characters.
