| Obverse description | At centre, the double-headed eagle emblem of the Bank of Russia with wings lowered, enclosed within a beaded circle. The curved legend `БАНК РОССИИ` (Bank of Russia) arcs beneath the eagle within the inner circle. Along the outer rim, the upper legend reads `ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ` (Twenty Five Roubles). The lower portion of the rim bears, from left to right, the precious metal designation and fineness `Ag 925`, the year of issue `2010 г.`, the fine metal content `155,5`, and the Saint Petersburg Mint monogram `СПМД`. |

| Reverse description | The central field depicts the temple architectural ensemble in Korovniki, Yaroslavl, rendered in fine relief and framed by an elaborate floral and foliate ornamental border. The composition features the Church of John Chrysostom, the Church of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God, and the tent-roofed bell tower characteristic of this celebrated seventeenth-century ensemble. Above the architectural scene, the curved Cyrillic inscription `ХРАМОВЫЙ АНСАМБЛЬ В КОРОВНИКАХ` (The Temple Ensemble in Korovniki) spans the upper portion of the design.
