| Obverse description | At center of the highly polished proof field, the Russian state emblem — a double-headed eagle displayed with wings spread, rendered in frosted relief — occupies the central device. The legend ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ (Twenty Five Roubles) arcs along the upper periphery in Cyrillic, while БАНК РОССИИ (Bank of Russia) is inscribed along the lower border, all within a beaded inner circle.
