Obverse description At centre, the Bank of Russia's double-headed eagle emblem with wings lowered occupies the field, enclosed within a beaded circle. The legend ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ (Twenty Five Roubles) arcs along the upper rim, while the lower arc carries the precious metal fineness designation, year of issue 2011г., the fine metal content, and the Saint Petersburg Mint privy mark (СПМД), all arranged symmetrically.
