The curved inscription БАНК РОССИИ (Bank of Russia) appears beneath the eagle. Along the outer rim, the denomination ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ (Twenty Five Roubles) arcs above, while below the inner circle, the alloy designation and fineness (Ag 925), the year of issue 2009 г., the fine metal content (155.5), and the Saint Petersburg Mint monogram (СПМД) are distributed to the left, centre, and right respectively.
